The advantages associated with the my Barceló Program do not apply to reservations made for flight + hotel packages. Additionally, these reservations do not count within the my Barceló account for the corresponding level calculation.

Reservation policy

Rates posted on this website are valid only on the day of your quote and are subject to change without notice. The rates shown are guaranteed upon payment. All reservations are subject to availability. The confirmation key is given until full payment is received.

By booking online or by phone you authorize the use of your credit card number to make the payment, and you expressly confirm knowing and accepting our reservation, payment, liability disclaimer and cancellation policies. All changes to a reservation are subject to availability and re-quote rates.

It is necessary that you print your reservation coupon and present it at the time of claiming the services you booked.

These policies also apply to cancelling reservations made on fixed payments

Payment policy

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express as payment methods.

The amount corresponding to your reservation will be immediately charged to your credit card and the charge will appear on your account statement with the PRICE TRAVEL CENTER as the company responsible for the charge.

Rates shown in Mexican pesos will be charged in Mexican pesos. Fees displayed in US dollars will be charged in US dollars for Visa and Mastercard transactions. For transactions with American Express the rate in US dollars will be converted to Mexican pesos at the exchange rate in effect on the date of the transaction. This conversion can cause the amount that will appear on your credit card statement to show a variation of up to 5% below or above the international currency exchange rate fluctuation. Price Res, SAPI de CV is not responsible for this fluctuation and by accepting this policy you acknowledge to have been informed about this fluctuation in the exchange rate and agree that the charge with American Express cards is made in Mexican pesos.

Background information

Price Res, SAPI de CV provides services as an intermediary between the customer and the provider of the goods and services published on this website. Price Res, SAPI de CV establishes commercial negotiations within its own quality and service standards, such as, but not limited to, lodging, ground transportation, air transportation, choosing only the most qualified and prestigious suppliers in the market. However, Price Res, SAPI de CV cannot assume any responsibility against those who buy services on its Internet portal, for acts or omissions of the providers announced here, because it has no control or legal relationship on its staff, equipment, operation or goods.

By this means the client authorizes Price Res, SAPI de CV, to act as a mediator in the hiring of the different services chosen, to form its travel package.

The commercial mediation service is performed directly by Price Res, SAPI de CV, from its operations center located in the City of Cancun, Quintana Roo, using its technological platform, regardless of the way in which the purchase is made, either through the Internet, customer service points, telephone support or any other form of contact.

In case of contracting Travel Packages abroad, the customer accepts that the use of them will be made outside national territory, reason why Price Res, SAPI de CV transfer the Value Added Tax at the rate of 0%, in accordance with Article 29, section IV, of the LIVA.

The acquisition of "Travel Packages" with destination abroad, which include the air transportation service initiated in national territory, Price Res, SAPI CV, transfers the Value Added Tax at the rate of 16%, only on the part representing 25% of that means of transport.

Price Res, SAPI de CV declares that:
  1. The photographs displayed on their website are for representative purposes and do not guarantee that on your arrival, everything is exactly the same as described here;
  2. The star category assigned to hotels is based on the interpretation of Price Res, SAPI de CV and may differ from the categories reported elsewhere.
  3. The descriptions of the travel services are updated by Price Res, SAPI CV constantly but do not guarantee that everything will be exactly the same on your arrival.
  4. Price Res, SAPI de CV reserves the right to reject any person or customer at any time it deems necessary.
  5. Any claim or written notice against Price Res, SAPI de CV, must be received no later than thirty (30) days after the end of the trip.
Liability separation

Price Res, SAPI de CV shall not be liable for any claim, cost or expense incurred for personal or third-party injury, accident or death, loss or damage to personal property, lack of fun, anger, disappointment, distress or frustration (whether mental or physical) resulting from the following causes:

  1. Acts or omissions of anyone other than Price Res, SAPI de CV or its employees;
  2. Illness, theft, labor disputes, strikes, mechanical failures, quarantine, government actions, weather conditions, or any other cause beyond the direct control of Price Res, SAPI de CV;
  3. Impossibility of the client to travel for not having the required documents such as, but not limited to passports, visas and certificates. No refunds apply in these cases.
  4. Failure of the customer to follow instructions including, but not limited to flight departure times, time and date of arrival and departure at hotels, and coupon redemption policies;
  5. Cancellation or change for any reason of the travel services offered. Price Res, SAPI de CV reserves the right to cancel or change the published services, but will try to replace them with similar services. If a reservation must be cancelled, the liability of Price Res, SAPI CV will be limited to the refund of all money paid by the customer;
  6. No full refunds apply in situations where travel has to be cancelled, interrupted or postponed by Price Res, SAPI de CV for reasons beyond your control (force majeure causes, such as, but not limited to, weather conditions, hurricanes, earthquakes, strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, etc.) and in which Price Res' contractual obligations, SAPI CV with its suppliers do not allow you to obtain reimbursement of the amount paid or to be paid to the provider on behalf of the customer. In these cases, Price Res, SAPI de CV reserves the right to retain 10% of the total amount paid for the reservation as an administrative expense.
  7. Although we update the rates constantly, in remote cases there is the possibility of changes in the rates without prior notice due to contingencies or causes of force majeure. In these cases, the provider may not have a way to quickly update rates. Price Res, SAPI de CV makes periodic reviews where there may be differences between the price paid for the reservation and the price required to use the service. In case of changes in rates, if this results in a lower price, that price will be charged and the difference will be refunded. If it results in a higher price, one of our Travel Advisors will contact you and inform you about the change. If you do not agree, Price Res, SAPI de CV will refund you 100% of the amount paid, but is not responsible for claims or inconvenience arising from the change of rates or cancellation of the reservation.
